Our version of the “American Dream” 🇺🇸☀️🌴 #America250
Fourth of July at Ocean Mist 🇺🇸🌊 absolutely legendary.
Perched right on the sand in Matunuck, Ocean Mist has been one of those classic New England beach-bar institutions since 1988, the kind of place where local music, national touring acts, breakfast, beers, surf, and salty summer nights all somehow live under one roof.
Blue sky bloomed during the day, and then a full Rhode Island thunderstorm cruised in. Huge thanks to everyone who came out, sang with us, danced through the chaos, and weathered the storm.
Ocean Mist, thank you for letting us add our little chapter to the story.
We came to play, we came to shore… 🤙
The Legendary Beach Bar Tour 🤙
Well… That escolated quickly. From heatwave to hurricane last night at @sandboxatseastreak 🌪️🌊
We got one song in, then Mother Nature decided she wanted to headline.
Huge apologies to everyone who came out for the show and didn’t get to see us play. We were bummed too, but safety comes first… and apparently the wind & rain had a bigger production budget than we did.
Thank you to everyone who rolled with the madness.
The Legendary Beach Bar Tour rolls on, slightly sandblasted, but still alive.
We came to play, we came to shore… 🤙🤙
@thewonderbarofficial is pure Jersey Shore legend.
Right there on Ocean Ave in Asbury Park, with the clownish spirit of Tillie smiling over the scene, this place has become one of those classic shore bars where live music, locals, visitors, and summer nights all crash together.
Last night, we got to add our little chapter to that story.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out, sang loud, sweaty danced, and made The Legendary Beach Bar Tour feel right at home in New Jersey.
Awesome show kick off by @dylancotrone
We came to play, we came to shore… 🤙🤙
Bird & Betty’s isn’t just another beach bar, it’s a Long Beach Island time machine. 🌊🍻
Before it became Beach Haven’s bayside spot for live music and summer fun, this building was the old Acme Hotel, said by locals to be one of the oldest taverns on Long Beach Island, with stories of a Prohibition-era trap door where booze was secretly loaded in. Bird and Betty Clutter bought the place in the late ’50s and helped turn it into a home for music, youth culture, dance floors, and legendary island nights.
Last night, we got to add our little chapter to that story.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out, sang loud, shared the stoke, and made The Legendary Beach Bar Tour feel right at home in Beach Haven, NJ.
We came to play, we came to shore… 🤙 🤙
